
Hurray!!! It’s the beginning of a new academic session and accordingly there are lots of skirts and trousers whom having passed through the mind-tasking and energy-draining UI post-utme and registration processes unscratched have become bonafide members of the univeristy community. POSSPRESS welcome all fresh students to the best univeristy in Nigeria and the best department on campus.
In felicitation with our recently matriculated “Zoon Politikon” we celebrate one rare damsel amongst the lots. Meet Miss. Adejumo Memunat Olajumoke
POSSPRESS: Can we meet you?
OLAJUMOKE: ….a 100L student of Political Science department. I’m from the Adejumo family and a native of Oyo state.
POSSPRESS: Tell us briefly about your educational background till date.
OLAJUMOKE: I attended Kiddies Foundation Nursery and Primary School. Rochas Foundation College for my secondary education. And currently studying in the University of Ibadan
POSSPRESS: Have you ever seek admission into any other institution before getting admitted into UI?
OLAJUMOKE: No. But I tried UI twice before given admission the second time.
POSSPRESS: And you’ve always applied to be a Political Science student?
OLAJUMOKE: No. The first time was law.
POSSPRESS: So what informed your decision to subscribe for Political Science?
OLAJUMOKE: I just wanted something related to law. And political science was d best option
POSSPRESS: Or you wanted a program you have higher chances of getting admitted into?
OLAJUMOKE: No. I wanted something more intriguing asides from law

POSSPRESS: What was the feeling like upon the news that you’ve been admitted into the premier university?
OLAJUMOKE: I was so happy. It wasn’t so easy waiting for a year and half. So dat was the greatest news at that time.
POSSPRESS: What has your experience been so far on campus having gone through all the rigorous registration process?
OLAJUMOKE: It has been hectic. As a matter of fact, tiring.
POSSPRESS: You’ve been on campus before the recent proscription of commercial Motorcycles within the campus. What’s your take on this development?
OLAJUMOKE: Am not so comfortable with the decision. They should please return the bikes. So has to aid easy movements of students.
POSSPRESS: Do you have anything you’re not alright within the department?
OLAJUMOKE: Nothing really.
POSSPRESS: Any favorite lecturer and course?
OLAJUMOKE: Prof OBC Nwolise. POS113.
POSSPRESS: What is your projection in respect of certificate at the end of your program?
OLAJUMOKE: First class degree by God’s grace.

POSSPRESS: Are you having toasters already?
OLAJUMOKE: Smiles. Yes, I do have toasters.
POSSPRESS: Lastly, what’s your message to fellow fresh intakes like you?
OLAJUMOKE: We should all wisen up. And try taking our studies seriously and also have a social life.
